The Finnish breeder of Finola has introduced a new oilseed hemp variety: FINOLA2. With its large seed size, the new variety has a significant growth advantage over many other hemp varieties. Our new variety has a very low THC-content, making it perfect for food and feed use. On top of that, FINOLA2 produces significant amounts of biomass, making it suitable for the production of both grain and fibre.

 FINOLA oil seed hemp is the earliest maturing hemp variety and suitable for northern conditions. It has a good pre-crop value. The mature crop is short and the harvested grain is further processed into food and feed as whole hempseed, dehulled hempseed, hempseed oil and protein powders. FINOLA's THC content is below 0.3 %, and the variety is included in the EU list of approved hemp cultivars.
